KAMATA STUDIO is a place where artists could use as thier studio / atelier and also use it as a gallery to show their work. The vistors could see the artist's work space on the 4th floor as they walk up to the gallery space which is on the 5th floor.

Even the broadband internet is a global standard, the real artwork itself and the communication through those work has been important. In Japan, it is hard to find a place to display and release their work.

In other hand, real estate market has been reinnovating old and vacant buildings around Japan. But those reinnovation occurs in high property area. Studio K aims to propose a way to reinnovate those properties by collaborating with young artists.

Based on these concepts "KAMATA STUDIO" is designed and managed by upsetters architects. We try to keep to rent fee as low as possilbe, so that we could collaborate with more artist in various ways.
